My 36 week Pregnant Portraits!

Yeah, I've made it to 36 weeks! Go look at the PHOTO ALBUM LINK on the right side of our blog!!! Lots of great photos!
My baby is definitely growing! After church today (June 28th, '09), while Nate & I were in Lakewood, CO and stalling before my church baby shower at 2:30, we went and did a photo-shoot at this beautiful spot we found. Nate was a great photographer! Most of these are with his SLR Nikon camera. The last 6 photos (when they start over through the outfits) are with my little digital Canon. Be ready for a lot of exposed belly pics. : ) We had so much fun doing this. Wanted to do this now just in case it was the last chance we got before he arrives. I hope the pictures show how much I've loved being pregnant.

Water aerobics exercise

Hi there! So the last two weeks I have been going to a prenatal water aerobics class at Utah Pool right here next to my house. It is an indoor huge pool and they offer prenatal and postnatal water aerobics twice a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and it's only $4 a class. I have been loving it! There are like 8 or 9 other pregnant women in the class and we talk about pregnancy stuff. They play music while we do aerobics in the pool. We go back and forth across, and then we use underwater weights and also noodles. It is actually a great workout...especially with a big belly hanging out in front of me (since I can't jog anymore). It's a total body workout for 1 hour which I am loving so I can get ready for the BIG exercise coming up! : )

Christopher Allen Browning

So Doug & Eiko had their babyboy! So exciting! He was born on June 22nd at 6:41am and he was 6 lbs 9 oz, 19 inches long. He was actually born 19 minutes before my normal shift started! The timing worked out great! So I was "admit nurse" that day (admitting the new babies born that day), so I got to "admit" their baby. It was SO fun! I got to give his first bath, do his vital signs and head to toe assessment, do his footprints, give his hepatitis B vaccine shot, etc. My signature is on a lot of his paperwork. So it was an honor and a lot of fun. After I got off work at 7:30pm, Nate came over to our floor from his building and we visited with the Brownings until almost 9pm. These are pictures of Nate holding their cute baby. Congratulations to our good friends!

34 weeks now and crib set up!

Here's me holding my baby (kitty) above my 34 week gestation baby inside. : ) And then I washed the beautiful crib bedding set that I got from the nurses that I work with. I set it all up and it is rather adorable. I love our jungle animal theme.

Our Crib finally came!

We finally got our beautiful crib (6 1/2 weeks later) from Baby's Dream.com! This one is called the Kathryn crib. We put it together that night and the kitties tried to help us. We love it!

My Denver Baby Shower!

I just had my colorado Baby Shower yesterday, Thurs. June 11th, 2009. It was SUCH a blast and we all had a great time. It was a really nice shower. A lot of people came and I felt very loved. Thank you everybody that was there! Just so you know, the next three blogs I put in order so you could just read straight down. Also, if you want to see a picture closer up, click on it and it will go big. For these 5 pictures, the first one is me and my big pregnant belly holding Nadine's little boy Eric, jr who was born last November. The next picture is of Nadine Rasmussen, her babyboy, and Anne Williams, CNM who delivered her boy. Then is Caitlin Wait and Christa Anderson, both nurses on my unit (like most the people at my shower). Then there's me and one of my best friends at work, Izzi Desilver. She's my good wine-drinking buddy...another connoisseur of wine. And then the last picture is me with the food table. The girls did a GREAT job with the food! There was so much variety and it was SO tasty!

My baby shower cont...

1. Nissa, the game planner, holding up a baby frozen in an icecube. We had to AROM the baby any way we could (which Nadine won by quickly biting the icecube apart).
2. This is my friend Juliane (& her son). Juliane looks so much like Robyn Wright-Penn to me (Jenny in Forrest Gump).
3. Another game, I was tasting a baby food to guess what was in it. This one was horrible tasting! (ergo, the funny face).
4. The winners of the baby food tasting game...Christa, Jill, and Eiko.
5. Me & my Certified Nurse Midwife - Anne Williams! It is so funny; she is the one that won the "guess the diameter of Angie's belly" game. How appropriate huh? I'm hoping she will be the one to deliver our boy. She is so great! It was an honor that she came to my shower.

These are pictures of me opening my gifts. From my Birth Center unit (the nurses), we got our Crib Sheet Set! We (Nate & I) were so excited! What a nice gift from my workplace! There is a picture of the cake (DQ icecream cake!) and the two wonderful friends that threw the shower for me. Gina Wells is on the right and Carol Nelson is on the left. Both are very good friends who I work with. The shower was at Gina's house. There's Christa who won the safety pin game (couldn't say the word "baby"). And then lastly, the pregnant girls. : ) This could possibly be our last picture of Eiko & I pregnant at the same time. I love this one! Eiko is almost 38 weeks here, and I am 33 weeks and 5 days. : ) I love our belly's.

Graco Pack N' Play

Dad, thanks for your baby gift! Here it is...we set up our Graco Pack N' Play about 1-2 weeks ago. This is what he will be sleeping in for the first 3-4 months (in the bassinet...it will be right by our bed). It's cool...it has a shade, a diaper changing station, and storage underneath. It also has a night light and music and vibration. We still don't have our real crib in yet...waiting on the store.

3D Ultrasound Baby Pictures

I Love these! It's amazing to almost see what he looks like before he is here (modern technology). I just wonder how close it is going to be. His parents think he is very cute. : )
