Gymboree Music Class with Christopher

Yesterday, I spent 2 and 1/2 hours with Eiko and Christopher for a playdate. I hadn't seen Christopher since st. paddy's day! Long time! He is so much bigger now! He's a cutie. They came to our house first...and he was eating in Johnathan's chair and Johnathan crawled up to him and was like, "What's going on here?". : )

Then we went to Gymboree Music class. You can see all the other cute babies in my class. Eiko came just to try it out but it wasn't totally her cup of tea.
Only one more month for her and she's starting her Heme-Onc fellowship.

Night Terrors

Johnathan has started having "Night Terrors" for the last week. Nate told the pediatrician what he has been doing, and the doctor told us that he is having what's called "night terrors". He usually does this between 11pm and 1am...just once a night. But it is horrible. He starts crying hard and is unconsolable. He's not even really awake. Very sad. Read this short, short article about it =

Pediatrician Appointment

Johnathan had his 9 mo. appointment last Friday (w/ Nate) only a couple days before his 10 month birthday. (He's 10 months old now). But the appointment went well with Dr. Kurtz. Johnathan weighed 19 lbs 8.5 oz (25th %), and he was 29 inches tall (70th %). He also got his hemoglobin level drawn to check for iron-deficiency anemia, and it was normal at 14.1. He is doing well! He is such a blessing!

Our new Egress Window!

I just realized I never put up the pictures of the process of the Egress Window. We are very happy with it and are so glad we did it! It was a great company we went with (J & J contractors). The total was $3,900 and now we have a legal finished basement. It was quite a process and fun to watch. It was done in Feb/March.

They quartered the concrete blocks they cut out because even with that, each quarter square weighed 800 lbs each. Heavy!

Egress Window cont...

Here's the finished project. They did SUCH a good job!

Back home for one week

I wanted to show how small he looks in our big yard. : ) Also, this is his new walker toy he got from his grandma.

Last night there...DINOSAURS!

So Johnathan got to hang out with his Grandma Jan, while my Mom and I went out to see the show "Walking with Dinosaurs". It was really neat how the dinosaurs moved so realistically and life-like. The mechanics were amazing. It was a fun show at the Spokane Arena.

Grandpa & T Bell

My last day with Dad on this trip, we went to Mirabeau Park to this pretty waterfall.
They have a new home near there, off of Argonne, and I really like their new home a lot.

Johnathan P. & Chloe Reamer on April 6th, '10

It's so fun to get the babies together.

Johnathan's best friend, Kula Puppy!

Dinner at Dad's after Easter

To finish up the first trip first....
Teresa was reading to Johnathan the "Old Macdonald" hand book and she was so funny; She said a "moo moo here" for the cat. : ) Pretty cute.
The last one is my Auntie Deb and my cousin Marc.

With crawling, comes no free-time for Mama : )

I'm sorry to those who follow this closely for being so behind still. I think it's because of the two big trips to Spokane in April, I have so many great pictures, I am a little overwhelmed. So I will just start hashing away at it little by little...and try to update you. Thanks guys.

John Pennock, Nate's Dad

Nate's Dad ended his 7 year battle with cancer on Thursday, April 22nd at 5:48am. He was at home in Spokane, WA and we were all there, including his sister Cherie. This is the last picture that I got of him (the day after Easter). His memorial service was on Tuesday, April 27th.

I wrote down some words from Johnathan, his Grandson (that I didn't get to say at the Memorial):
"I will miss you Grandpa. I will miss growing up with your guidance & words of wisdom. I will miss you throwing me up in the air and all the fun things we would have done together. I will miss our hikes and white-water rafting trips. But I know you will be with me whenever I do those things; watching down from above. I'm happy for the 9 months we had together. I hope to make you laugh in heaven. You will always be my Grandpa John, my namesake. And I'll always be your Little John. Love you".
