Nathan Update

Nate's getting through the stresses of PhD school and having a family/home life. He is very busy all the time and still manages to make his family feel very special. He's been very sweet to me during this pregnancy. He recently replaced the Alternator and the starter motor on his car. Nice to have a handyman for a husband! He's also now working on cutting a cat door into the utility room downstairs so the kitties can crap in there.

Angie Update

So today I am 38 weeks pregnant! It could be any day now. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy went. It sadly zoomed by. Not much time to think about your pregnancy when you're taking care of a toddler. I'm doing okay other than being very wiped out, recovering from a cold, and having more painful braxton hicks contractions from time to time. Last week, at my midwife appointment, my blood pressure was 90/50...quite low. But it's okay and that's normal for pregnant women. Little Ryan inside is doing great and he moves around A LOT! I love feeling him kick and move. Can't wait to meet him. He's really low and is head down and getting ready to be born. I'm betting he will be 8 and 1/2 pounds. We're trying to get Johnathan ready by talking about baby brother a lot. It's tough being alone with him because he still wants me to run around and throw balls and play swords and wrestle, etc etc. But I'm also trying to enjoy every last day "alone" with him before our home life changes again. Can't believe this pregnancy is almost over. Sad and exciting all at once.

Johnathan Update

Johnathan is saying the funniest things even more now. And his memory amazes me. The other day, about a week after we went to Auto Zone, we were driving and passed it again and he screams out, "Hey! We went there! That's where we got your windshield wipers!" Wow, he remembered the look of the store and what we did there, and we had only been there once ever.
Then later, we passed in front of Kohl's, and he goes, "Kim goes there!" (Kim is our babysitter). Then he goes, "Kim goes there a lot!". So that was funny.
He has an amazing memory. The other day, he was in the back seat and acting like he was ordering from a drive-through restaurant. He was like, "Ummm, No. Ummm, Yes. Ah, that will be it." So funny!
