My belly now...32 weeks (Dec 2nd)

Here's my rather large growing belly. : ) Lots of differing opinions. Some people think it's really cute and looks great. Others think it is huge. This was at 32 weeks. I just took my 36 week pictures today...will post later. Getting close now!

After Thanksgiving

We got Johnathan's picture with Santa this year at the Denver Zoo Lights - members preview. We had SO much fun there and it wasn't too cold. The line wasn't that long, and Johnathan wasn't scared of Santa at all! He even looked up at him and said, "I want swords for Christmas!" Then he got a candy cane from him.

Johnathan thought it would be very funny to put on Teresa's boots. We were all laughing pretty hard. Teresa, Rachel, and Rikki were in colorado for a wedding the weekend after thanksgiving so they visited us one afternoon. Had a fun time!

Thanksgiving pictures

Here's Johnathan in the start of the merge to his big boy room. : ) This is what the office used to be (now it's downstairs). This was right around thanksgiving time.

Here's the family on Thanksgiving day. It was beautiful and warm that day, and we played basketball and football outside in the front lawn.

The day after thanksgiving, we all took Johnathan to a place in Littleton called "Pump it up"...a big jumping place for little kids. He had SO much fun.

Look at the static in his hair! Crazy!

Thanksgiving

This year, we had Jan (Nate's Mom) and Keith (Nate's brother) here in Denver for Thanksgiving. It was great to have them come to us, as we have always flown home. (I'm not flying anywhere because of being far along in pregnancy and to save money.)
So anyway, the two fun theme's of this Thanksgiving was "swords" and "poke the bear". Johnathan was suddenly into swords like the day before they came. He always wants to sword fight now. So he was so excited to sword fight with his Uncle Keith. We did it every day. : )
Then also, we played "Poke the Bear" with Keith downstairs. He slept in the new office (which has moved downstairs to our finished basement) on a mattress on the floor. It was really dark in there so he would sleep till 9:30 or 10:30 am every morning. So when it was time for him to wake up, Nate or whoever would take Johnathan down there to his dark room with a stick and "poke the bear". Johnathan loved it! Thought it was SO funny!
Pictures of Thanksgiving on the way...

New dresser for his Big Boy room!

Here's Johnathan in the garage working on his new dresser that we got on Craig's list for only $30!!! It was in great condition, other than a lot of scratches on top. So Nate sanded it down, and then restained the whole thing. Now it looks great! Can't beat $30 bucks for a big dresser.

Johnathan was an active participant in making his dresser look like new. This was probably the beginning of November.

Miracle Upon Miracles!

A Miracle happened yesterday. : ) Hee hee! We finally got our WEDDING VIDEO from our wedding that was 4 years and 4 months ago!!!!! It is a really long story that I won't go into, but our videographer Mike Stewart totally flaked on us and never made our wedding video (even though it said in the official contract that it would be done within 8 months...yeah right!). He still even owes us $700. But anyway, my sister in California helped us out and found a guy that could edit our video for us if we gave him the raw master tapes. He did it for $500, and it is done now and we HAVE IT!!! Hallelujah! I never thought I would see this day. As you could tell, it meant a lot to me and I was so sad when I thought I could never see our wedding day again. But Nate & I watched it last night and it was great! He did a pretty good job with what he had to work with. And we have 3 copies! How exciting! And also, MAN we looked good that day! : ) hee hee

My Basketball Belly costume

This was so fun trying to make it look really real. My belly was the perfect size for this right now. Fun halloween!

Trick or Treating for Halloween

Here's our costumes! : ) I had a Basketball Belly. Perfect for this time in my life. It was so fun.

Johnathan absolutely LOVED trick or treating for the 1st time this year! He was amazed everyone was giving him candy at their door! : ) After each house, he would scream out, "I wanna go to the next house!" He was really into it and didn't want to stop. We went from about 5:30 pm to 7 pm and it was definitely dark. We did the whole "Macon St." loop. Fun seeing our neighbors too.

Cuties for Halloween

Johnathan's little friend Marcela, as Belle, the princess. : ) Johnathan being a boy of course.

They were so cute posing for pictures for us. They loved it.

Showing Marcela the "uouy" guts on the inside.

Halloween Boo Bash at Univ. Hospital

Me and Johnathan with Nadine's family (the Rasmussen's).

Boo Bash at work was A LOT of fun this year! Great booths and Johnathan loved it.

Carving his 1st Pumpkin

He would say, "Uhhhh, Guts!"

Johnathan's 1st Theater!

Hi!
Johnathan just went to his FIRST movie in a Theater! We took him on November 2nd at like 5pm, and we saw "Puss in Boots". We prepped him to be quiet...and he did SO well! He sat through the whole thing and he only asked loud questions a couple of times. He enjoyed munching on the movie popcorn and loved the lights and sounds and everything. It was so fun for Nate and I to watch him in between us. What a good kid to sit through his first movie outing.
By the way, the movie was really cute! We all enjoyed it.

Snow havoc in our yard

The first major snow we had this year was on October 26th. This is that day, and these are pictures of all the havoc it created in our yard.

So many branches broke on our trees from the weight of the snow! I think we had 5 trees that had MAJOR branches break! It was crazy. Sad for our trees though. Nate had to cut up a lot of branches the next few days.

Our trees touching our lawn!

Fall Leaves, end of October

Drive to Evergreen to see fall colors

We had to get up to see the pretty mountains in Colorado before the leaves dropped. So Johnathan and I drove to Evergreen lake and walked around there. It was SO pleasant and just a beautiful morning. Johnathan loved "fishing for ducks" and throwing rocks in the lake.

Angie's Birthday pics

My 32nd birthday was on Oct. 18th. We had some fun posing for these pictures because that same day, Johnathan's new fun toy came in the mail! We bought him a tee ball set and it is also an automated baseball pitcher. So it can shoot up to 4 balls out at you. It is SO much fun! Johnathan likes it a lot, but he gets frustrated because he can't hit the balls too well when they shoot out at him. We also did a confetti shooter in the backyard for my birthday which was really fun.

Man, my belly looks like a ball here!

Out to a fun dinner at Old Chicago. Had deep dish pizza which was SO yummy!

Halloween Party at Preschool!

He is an Elephant this year. So cute! I bought this costume on sale after halloween last year, and luckily it fits okay.

Johnathan goes to preschool for 1 hour on Tuesday mornings from 9-10am with Mom. I stay the whole time so it's something we do together. He really enjoys it!

Here's all his critter classmates.

This is Johnathan's teacher...Miss Kori. He really likes her.

Fun at Preschool

Johnathan putting his name up on the school bus.
