We went on a great date for my birthday, the 18th. Molly babysat Johnathan. And we went to dinner at Venice Ristorante in DTC. We researched a bunch of restaurants before settling on this one. This one had amazing reviews and apparently Andrea Bocelli has held a function there at the one downtown. It's gotta be good, right? And it was!Amazingly delicious food! And the waiter helped us pick our wine just right. I loved every part of the meal. Very nice time together.
Afterwards, we had planned on going to D-bar downtown for dessert (d-bar is dessert bar). But we get there and it was dark and closed. Dangit! Starting that week, they were closed on Mondays! That sucked! So we just went home an hour early since we were stuffed anyway.
